Addinath Kothare will reportedly essays Ranbir Kapoor's on-screen brother in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has been grabbing headlines ahead of its formal announcement. There are a lot of reports about the new actors joining the mythological drama. We hear that, Addinath Kothare, who was part of Ranveer Singh starrer film 83, is now all set to join the cast of upcoming mythological film.

Addinath will be portraying a very pivotal character of Bharat who was Ram’s brother and as everyone knows since Ramayana is such a beautiful masterpiece, Addinath Kothare will get to portray a role which the audience will love. Ranbir Kapoor will be essaying the titular role of Ram in the film.

Though there has not been an official announcement yet, reports have suggested that Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash are playing the principal characters. According to E Times, Addinath will be essaying Bharat in the film Ramayana. Since the announcement of the film, fans of the historical and mythological universe have been waiting for the film to hit the big screen, and the news of Addinath Kothare joining the cast has made fans even more excited!

In Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Lord Ram. Sai Pallavi has been roped in for the role of Sita. KGF star Yash is also likely to play Ravana in the movie whereas Sunny Deol has reportedly been locked for the role of Hanuman. Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are also reportedly in talks for the roles of Kumbhakarna and Vibhashana respectively. It was recently reported that Amitabh Bachchan has been finalised for the role of King Dashrath in the movie. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
