Jaya Bachchan REVEALS Why She Prefers Company Of Younger Generation Over Her Friends: 'I Take Pleasure In...'
Jaya Bachchan opened up about her preference of spending time with the younger generation and the reason behind the same.

In the recent episode of “What The Hell Navya,” the Bachchan women – Navya Naveli Nanda, Jaya Bachchan, and Shweta Bachchan – explored the tension between youth and experience, and the fallout from this clash. They debated the notion that the younger generation is often subjected to criticism by older individuals for allegedly lacking experience, despite making significant impacts. Throughout the discussion, Jaya was a vocal advocate for the youth.

The seasoned actress encouraged the younger folks to ignore the skepticism of the older generation about their intentions, emphasizing the importance of sticking to their decisions. She shared her preference for younger people’s company over that of her own age group. Navya shared her perspective, saying, “My generation is involved in so many things. We immerse ourselves in everything. Like, I engage in a hundred activities and many people advise to pace it, but I feel there’s so much I wish to express, achieve, and amend, yet time is so limited.”

Jaya Bachchan resonated with Navya Naveli’s outlook, stating, “I relate to it entirely. I was the same. There was so much I wanted to accomplish. The highest praise I can offer the younger generation is this – I adore my friends and cherish the moments spent with them, but the company of the younger generation is significantly more enjoyable to me. I take pleasure in listening to them, and watching them communicate is immensely enjoyable and intellectually stimulating for me.”

Upon being asked by Navya about her desires if she could experience her 20s again, the accomplished actress expressed, “Given the chance, I would choose to be born in the present era for the sheer number of challenges it presents.”

For those unversed, Navya Nanda started her podcast journey on YouTube in 2002 with ‘What The Hell Navya’. In her podcast, she, along with grandmother Jaya Bachchan and mom Shweta speak about issues women face in society. They also got candid in their conversations. The episodes can be found on Navya’s YouTube Channel. The podcast was created by IVM Podcasts and empowered by Bumble India.
