Fatima Sana Shaikh recently captivated the audience’s attention with her spectacular portrayal as Indira Gandhi in the biographical drama Sam Bahadur. While the film continues to receive appreciation from the movie buffs as well as critics, the actress seems to be back to work and filming for her upcoming projects. In the latest, Fatima shared that she wrapped up one of her impending shoots and posted a series of behind the scene pictures (BTS) with her crew members.
Taking to Instagram, Fatima Sana Shaikh shared, “And it’s a wrap. Well, almost a wrap. Couldn’t post everyone’s photo. But all you guys are so special. Thank you for giving me so much love.” In the pictures the actress is seen posing in an unfiltered and raw look with many team members. The shoot was suggestively taking place in a chilly location.

Meanwhile, Fatima Sana Shaikh completed 7 years in the film industry in December 2023. She debuted with Dangal and shared screen with Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra and others. Fatima Sana Shaikh had no idea about the impact her role as Geeta Phogat in Dangal would have on her career. Speaking about her journey so far, the actress mentioned, “It’s been 7 years since ‘Dangal’, a film that marked my debut in cinema and gave me happy tears, joy, and timeless memories. From Dangal to Dhak Dhak my film career has been a roller coaster ride of emotions with happiness, tears, joys and sorrows.”
Recently, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress stated that while selecting a role she goes by her instincts. She tries to figure out if the role excites her. Fatima asserted, “When I’m prepping for a role, I dig deep into the script and take as much as I can from the text that I have. But the characters don’t stay with me. I am out of character the moment I step out.”
On the professional front, Fatima was last seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur. She was also seen in Dhak Dhak which also starred Sanjana Sanghi, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza. Reportedly, she will be collaborating with her Dangal co-star Aamir Khan for his next production venture. The film is expected to be directed by Advait Chandan, who is best known for Secret Superstar. She has also been part of some successful works such as Ajeeb Dastaans, Thar, Modern Love Mumbai.
