In an exciting update producer, Boney Kapoor has confirmed that the highly anticipated No Entry 2, the sequel to the 2005 hit film with the same title, will feature Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor. This casting revelation has surely set high expectations. He revealed this information during an interview with Indian Express. He even mentioned that shooting may start in December this year.
Speaking to Indian Express, Boney Kapoor said, “The film is on cards, and we are set for it. It is a big one and we will probably start rolling by December this year. We have got Varun, Arjun and Diljit. There will be a lot of actresses as well.” However, he did not reveal much information about the plot. “Earlier, the concept had spilled over and some films had copied it, or rather ‘adapted’ it. I don’t want to name the film, so it is better not to speak about it. I used to brag about the unusual concept we had but then I found out there was another film that was made with the same concept,” he added.
No Entry starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitly. Boney Kapoor has recently revealed that Anil wanted to be a part of the sequel, but unfortunately, there was “no space”. “Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the cast involved, he got angry as the news was already leaked. It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did,” Boney told Zoom in an interview.
Boney Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of his production Maidaan, which stars Ajay Devgn. At its trailer launch event, Boney expressed his happiness that the film was finally getting a release after multiple delays due to Covid-19 pandemic. The sports drama is releasing on April 10.
