Akshay Kumar has thanked his “bhai” Salman Khan for sending his best wishes to the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which also stars Tiger Shroff, Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar. On Tuesday morning, Salman shared the trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on his official Instagram and X handles, writing that he hopes the film breaks the box office record of his previous releases, including Tiger and Sultan.
Reacting to Salman’s heartwarming gesture, Akshay wrote, “Thank you bhai @BeingSalmanKhan! Tiger zinda tha aur rahega but hopefully Ali’s magic with BMCM will also be able to entertain the audience!”
“Bhai, there is no one like you! Tight hug,” director Ali Abbas Zafar commented on Salman’s Instagram post.

The trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was released on Tuesday morning at a grand event in Mumbai. In the trailer, Akshay and Tiger go to great lengths to protect the nation from a terrorist attack. They perform intense stunts and deliver impactful dialogues. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist, Kabir, who has hijacked a potent, powerful and dangerous weapon and Akshay and Tiger are entrusted with the task of getting it back safely.
The original Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was directed by David Dhawan. It starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in titular roles and was released in 1998. On the other hand, the new Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was announced in February 2023. Helmed by the celebrated director Ali Abbas Zafar and backed by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, the film promises to be the biggest blockbuster of 2024.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is slated to release on April 10, on the occasion of Eid.
