Don’t we all remember the beautiful throaty growl of the twin exhaust pipes of the Yezdis. It had the long and muscled seats, chromed body that made the Yezdi stand out. The new website has a special section for the iconic JAWA model.
The range included the 250cc Roadking and Monarch, the 248.5cc Classic, Deluxe and CL II and the Yezdi 175, all were known for their performance, both on and off the road. Anand Mahindra, CEO of the Mahindra Group took to twitter to share the new website.
He said that he was nostalgic to see the great brand being remembered, after Mahindra’s fully owned subsidiary, Classic Motorcycles had acquired a license to sell JAWA motorcycles in India while acquiring the full ownership of the iconic BSA brand.
Mahindra is expected to roll out the first product at the Auto Expo next year and likely to produce modern Yezdis at its Pithampur facility.
