BMW announces 3% price hike on its cars in India; to be applicable from January 1, 2016
The price hike will also affect the Mini range in India – namely the Cooper, Cooper D and the Cooper S.

BMW have announced a price increase of three per cent across their product range in India. The hike has been attributed to BMW’s need for continuing to offer what they call ‘Sheer Driving Pleasure’, which “can only be completed by introducing innovative products, building world-class dealerships, state-of-the-art services that engages passionately with clientele to deliver premium services ahead of its time,” says Philipp von Sahr, president, BMW Group India.

BMW’s current line-up in India includes the 1 Series, 3 Series, 3 Series Gran Turismo, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3 and the X5 assembled at their Chennai plant.

BMW also offer the 6 Series Gran Coupe, X6, Z4, M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe, M5 Sedan, M6 Gran Coupe, X5 M, X6 M and the i8 as CBU units. The price hike will also affect the Mini range in India – namely the Cooper, Cooper D and the Cooper S.

The 39 sales outlets for BMW cars and four exclusive outlets for Mini have been set up with a vision to offer high standards of service quality and customer care, say BMW India.

The new prices from BMW will be effective from January 1, 2016.
