Woman Uses Ice Cream To Colour Her Hair; See What Happens Next

The internet is full of useless hacks that promise cheap and easy solutions. While most people would approach these with skepticism, some still venture to try them for the thrill of experimentation. Recently, a content creator made a video in which she tried colouring her hair using ice cream. The creator, named Suman, takes three chocolate-coated ice creams and mashes them into the lower ends of her hair. Suman said that she was tempted to try this after someone shared a video of this trick with her.

In the second part of the video, Suman washes her ice cream-covered hair after 20 minutes and concludes that her hair remains black, declaring the hack as fake. However, in the comments section, many people mocked her for attempting such a bizarre idea. One Instagram user sarcastically suggested, “Agli baar chewing gum se try karna (Next time try putting chewing gum on your hair.)” Another person wrote, “Next time, try using feviquick.”

Amongst the sarcastic comments, many criticised Suman for wasting food. An Instagram user wrote, “Wastage of ice cream.” Another person wrote, “These are the same people who would roll up their car windows when a child who’s underprivileged comes and asks them to get him something to eat.”

Suman has over 50,000 Instagram followers and over 6.5 lakh YouTube subscribers. She frequently makes videos of trying odd hacks. On March 15, she tried colouring her hair by using turmeric power at the suggestion of one of her followers.

She takes a packet of turmeric powder, adds water to it and then applies the whole paste to her hair. She secures her turmeric-coated hair in a bun and keeps it on for 20 minutes. Suman expresses her anxiety over ruining her hair and prays that she doesn’t get grey hair because of this trick. As expected after she washes her hair, they remain the same colour and the turmeric does not transfer any colour to her hair.

Commenting on her video, an Instagram user wrote, “In few days you will become bald by trying all this.”

Expressing the same sentiment, another person wrote, “Tu aapne baal matt kharab kar, kabhi icecream kabhi haldi, matt karo didi (Sister, don’t spoil your hair sister by sometimes putting ice cream and sometimes putting haldi. Don’t do it.)”
