When most of us get bored with our mundane lives, we often try to get away from the chaos and try on a new adventure. Many people want to experience pulse-pounding thrills that can satisfy the adrenaline junkie in them. However, sometimes these adventure sports can take the wrong turn as they are highly dangerous. Many people have lost their lives while enjoying their adventure sports. Recently, a woman from Italy lost her life after she fell from 60 feet to the ground on a 75-mph zip line. The woman slipped from her safety harness and fell from a 60ft height over Italy’s Bitto Valley. The news has caught the attention of many users on social media.

The name of the woman was Ghizlaine Moutahir, who took part in the adrenaline-pumping ride above Bitto Valley in Lombardo, Italy. To satisfy the adrenaline junkie in her, she decided to do zip lining. The adventure sport was supposed to take her 750ft above the beautiful scenery at huge speeds before coming to a standstill. What exactly happened was that her safety harness failed to hold her as she was approaching the end of the ride. After the incident, the paramedics rushed to the spot, but nothing could be done as she was declared dead on the spot. Police have been investigating the adventure sports company regarding Ghizlaine’s death.

While Ghizlaine was on her adventure, she was accompanied by two of her nieces, who had themselves completed the zip line round. They were watching their aunt take her turn on the 60mph ride and were filming her when the tragedy struck. The investigators are also examining the footage carefully to understand the accident.

In an interview with TODAYNews, Matteo Sanguineti, CEO of the Fly Emotion company, said, “We still don’t know precisely what may have happened. I am shocked and in disbelief. We are at the complete disposal of the judiciary, which is now investigating. And we are close to the victim’s family. Over 200 thousand people will have flown on the crossing between the towns of Bema and Albaredo. I am shocked and incredulous.”
