Various animal videos go viral on the internet every day. Recently, a cute clip of a mother orangutan and her baby is garnering everyone’s attention.
Instagram account Viralhog often posts funny videos related to animals. A video has been shared on this account in which an orangutan, along with the baby cover and blanket, is seen sitting on an iron rod. Orangutans are very intelligent creatures. While other creatures start looking for places to hide when it rains, this orangutan appears to be taking a different approach.
She covered herself with a blanket and enjoyed the rain. There is something in her hand, which she is eating with great pleasure. She is likewise stuck with her child, and the baby is seen not doing anything. Snacking under the rain is a visually appealing sight. In the clip, both the mother and baby are seen doing the same and enjoying the wonderful weather. “Snacks under a blanket in the rain” reads the caption. Take a look at the video:

Earlier, a rare moment of an orangutan was filmed by a visitor in Mount Leuser National Park in the Bukit Lawang area of North Sumatra, Indonesia. Tour guide Eddie, who goes by only one name, was visiting the national park to see the mammals when it started raining heavily. The 42-year-old noticed from a distance that some orangutans were picking up caladium leaves and using them as covers.
Then he saw a mother orangutan hiding her infant behind a leaf while carrying it. Eddie was taken aback by their actions and promptly snapped a photo with his phone. Sadly, he also saw some orangutans using plastic bags that they had caught from a nearby river to protect themselves from the rain.
