Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, never fails to amaze people with its incredible stories of people working in the tech industry. Previously, several videos and pictures of people working on their laptops at unconventional settings have gone viral on social media. And now a new picture has surfaced online in which a person could be seen working on his laptop inside a movie theatre, stirring online discussion on work-life balance.

Taking to X (Formerly Twitter), a user named Rishika posted the picture of a man working inside a theatre and wrote in the caption, “Went to a movie yesterday and someone was on a laptop throughout the movie. Bangalore is Bangaloring.” She also revealed that the man came to watch the animated film Kung Fu Panda 4.

Soon after she shared the post, it went viral on social media grabbing online users’ reaction to it. Several users swamped down the comments section and shared their mixed reactions to the post, while some started off a discussion on work life balance.

A user commented, “Speaks volume about work-life balance. Glorifying such a disability is not hustle-culture.” Another commented, “Bunk maar raha tha, bro didn’t expect he would get a call.” A user wrote, “He must have taken wfh, but couldn’t wrap up by movie’s time.” Another commented, “Peak Bengaluru.” A user joked, “Client: I need urgent changes! That guy: I’m watching a movie in the theatre. Client: OK, finish this before the movie ends.”

Well that’s not the first time when Bengaluru amazed the netizens with its unique stories. Recently a video surfaced on social media in which a man was seen attending a zoom call meeting while riding his scooty in the narrow streets of India’s Silicon Valley which raised several discussions about responsible work practices and safe working environments for the employees.

Also, a few months back a woman was seen working on her laptop while riding a pillion on a bike which went viral on social media.
