Ali Zafar Reacts To Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Hit Bado Badi Song: 'I Was Delusional'
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's Bado Badi has crossed 27 million views on YouTube.

Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has become a viral sensation for his latest song Bado Badi, which has earned millions of views on YouTube since it was shared on April 9. He has joined the ranks of other Pakistani singers like Taher Shah, who also became a global sensation for “cringe” songs like Mankind Angel. On Saturday, the singer and actor Ali Zafar reacted to Bado Badi’s success. Ali Zafar, known for songs like Jhoom and Voh Dekhnay Mein, reshared a post that mentioned Bado Badi has garnered 19 million views on YouTube in a month, whereas Zafar and Ata Ullah’s song Balo Batian has 16 million views.

Ali Zafar wrote, “Confession: I was delusional and arrogant to think I had no competition. I’ve been humbled.” As of June 3, Bado Badhas has crossed 27 million views on YouTube.

Commenting on this post, an X user wrote, “Never underestimate Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, the new sensation in town.”

Another person wrote, “Sad to see this! Chahat Fateh is nothing but a cringe content creator, and Ali is pure talent! The numbers can be manipulated, but they don’t mean anything!”

Someone else wrote, “Don’t compare a song and a comedy show together. Both are different things.”

An X user observed, “Seems the worst downfall of music and the disrespect to the original creator of songs, pity on people giving so much attention to such low cadre people on YouTube and Tiktok.”

Interestingly Chahat Fateh Ali’s Bado Badi is a rendition of Noor Jehan’s iconic song of the same name. Chahat Fateh Ali’s video went viral for its “cringe” element, characterized by bad singing, unconvincing acting, and over-the-top video editing.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan recently appeared on Asif Jutt’s podcast and spoke about the virality of his song. He said that he gets many marriage proposals from his fans. “I am still getting proposals. I have gotten twenty-eight proposals on Twitter. Nowadays, I have been doing live on Twitter. I am married, and I cannot accept those proposals but I feel honored after having such proposals. I am honoured,” he said.
