Xender Digital has partnered with Samsung to develop a Tizen version of the app Xender. Samsung accounted for 27 percent market share in India’s mobile handset market in the first quarter of 2017. The launch of Tizen smartphones by Samsung is expected to play a role in further strengthening its position in India. Xender Tizen is aimed to provide an immediate tool to users for near-distance file transfers.

The official version of Xender Tizen was released on May 8, 2017, and is now available for download in Tizen Apps Store. Xender Tizen acquired over 150,000 downloads within the first two weeks of its release.
Xender Tizen supports cross-platform transfer and file sharing between Tizen, Android and iOS systems at a speed 200 times that of Bluetooth, as per the company claims. It allows sharing of any type of file without any data usage.
