LG has announced that it is set to offer movies from Google Play on its smart TVs in 100 countries.
Beginning this month, LG smart TV owners will be able to view thousands of movies and TV shows via Google Play Movies & TV, which allows viewers to rent or buy content from major Hollywood studios.
Cloud-based viewing means the same content can then be accessed on smartphones, tablets and PCs.
Movies will become available starting this month in 104 countries, while the TV service will roll out initially in the US, the UK, Australia and Canada.
