New Delhi: South Korean electronics manufacturer LG has unveiled its latest all-metal smartphone, LG Zero, which goes with the LG Class moniker in Germany, Korea, Russia and Singapore.
The LG Zero was first introduced in Korea and is being gradually rolled out to other key markets including Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
The phone draws on the same camera technology as found in the LG G series and comes with a full metal body.
It has been crafted in aluminium body with a special ‘Arc Glass’ design that offer slimmer overall appearance. The phone features a 5-inch HD in-cell touch display offering 1280 x 720 resolution at 294ppi.
The LG Zero runs a 1.2GHz Quad-Core chipset coupled with 1.5 GB LPDDR3 RAM. The phone comes with 16 GB of internal storage can is expandable via microSD card.
It further sports a 13 megapixel rear camera along with an 8 megapixel front snapper with features from the G series smartphones like Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Gesture Interval Shot. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB 2.0.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-powered phone draws its juice from a 2050mAh battery and is available in Black and Gold colour choices.
LG is expected to announce the prices and participating carriers locally at the time of availability in selected markets.
