HTC to make Google-Nexus phones for the next 3 years: Report
It will not be the first time that HTC will be collaborating with Google for a device as the two have worked together on crafting the first Nexus handset and recently the Nexus 9 tablet.

New Delhi: In 2015, it was LG and Huawei building Google's popular Nexus smartphones. This year, it is rumoured that Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC will again take the baton in its hands and build not one but two Nexus phones.

According to latest reports, HTC has signed a contract with Google for the next three years to build Nexus handsets, which means in all likelihood, HTC could be manufacturing up to 6 Nexus handsets over the time.

It will not be the first time that HTC will be collaborating with Google for a device as the two have worked together on crafting the first Nexus handset and recently the Nexus 9 tablet.

A report on myDrivers does not mention if HTC will be the only Nexus manufacturer this year or there will be a mix of two manufacturers like last year when LG made the Nexus 5X and Huawei built the Nexus 6P.

Although there is no official word, it is speculated that the next Nexus smartphone could come with iPhone-like 3D Touch feature and offer two display sizes at 5.1 and 5.5 inches.
