Google brings interactive 360-degree Spotlight Stories to YouTube
As you move your phone to various scenes, you unlock mini-stories within the story.

New Delhi: After bringing the virtual reality features, Google has now introduced 360-degree interactive Spotlight Stories to its YouTube app for Android.

The Spotlight Stories is Google's 360-degree storytelling projects under which engineers and acclaimed filmmakers bring stories to life using the latest mobile technology.

The interactive nature lets you experience the story in a manner which makes you feel like a part of narration. As you move your phone to various scenes, you unlock mini-stories within the story.

'Special Delivery' - the latest in the series of Spotlight Stories is an original short film, made by Academy Award-winning animation studio Aardman Animations, which can be watched on the YouTube app on Android devices.

In his blog, Kurt Wilms, Senior Product Manager, YouTube VR, explains that both versions of 'Special Delivery' are available on Spotlight Stories YouTube channel that can also be viewed on Google cardboard.

The site plans to launch the Google Spotlight Stories to more Android devices and the YouTube app for iOS in the next year.
