Mammootty’s highly anticipated thriller pan-Indian film Bramayugam has been creating waves on social media. Rahul Sadasivan has directed this film. Now, the makers have amped up the fervour around this film, by unveiling its soundtrack. Night Shift Studios has uploaded the audio jukebox of this film. It comprises six songs, namely Kunjamon Potti, Poomani Maalika, Thambaye, Aadithyan Illaadhe, The Beginning, and The Age of Madness. Christo Xavier has composed the music for this album. Din Nath Puthenchery, Ammu, and Maria Alex have penned the lyrics. Christo Xavier, Atheena, and Sayanth S have rendered the vocals to this track.

Bramayugam also dominates the headlines because of its teaser. Night Shift Studios unveiled the teaser of this film on November 11 and garnered 2.8 million views. The teaser shows Arjun Ashokan entering an old mansion. All of a sudden, he is scared to listen to a maniacal laughter, amidst pitch darkness. The teaser further shows Arjun’s character trying to escape the mansion, fearing the outcomes. Bramayugam’s glimpse looks even more frightening with the background music and the monochrome images of the characters. The teaser ends featuring Mammootty blowing off a diya. By the looks of it, the movie is set in the bygone era and promises a compelling watch comprising paranormal phenomena and dark magic.

Details about Bramayugam are currently not known. The producers, however, have confirmed that the film will take an experimental approach. This includes components of the supernatural and mysticism. Mammootty is set to play the villain in Bramayugam which may be released at the cinemas on February 15. It also stars Sidharth Bharathan and Manikandan R Achari. Bramayugam has been filmed in different cities of Kerala such as Ottapalam, Kochi, and Athirappilly.

Mammootty last played a cameo role in the film Abraham Ozler.
