Will Kejriwal Skip ED Summons Again on March 4? Delhi Govt Set to Present Budget on Same Day
Delhi Minister Atishi said on Friday she will present the budget in the Assembly on March 4

Delhi government is set to present the budget on March 4, the same day the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear before it for questioning.

Delhi Minister Atishi said on Friday she will present the budget in the Assembly on Monday. This will be Atishi’s first budget as Finance Minister after she was inducted into the Delhi cabinet last year.

The probe agency on Tuesday issued a summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the eighth time for questioning in the Delhi Excise policy scam case.

On Monday, Kejriwal skipped the seventh summons issued to him in connection to the case and said he would appear before the agency if a court ordered him to do so.

The AAP national convenor alleged that the summons was a tool to pressure him into leaving the INDIA block.

A city court, approached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over Kejriwal skipping its summons, has directed the Delhi Chief Minister to appear before it on March 16.
