134. Timarni is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Betul (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Timarni falls in Harda district and Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,70,568 voters in the seat, which includes 89,350 male voters, and 81,216 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Timarni recorded a voter turnout of 82.59%. In 2013 the turnout was 75.9%, and in 2008 it was 66.67%.
In 2013, Sanjay Shah Makdai of BJP won the seat by a margin of 16,507 votes (13.67%). Sanjay Shah Makdai secured 51.76% of the total votes polled.
