New Delhi: BJP President Nitin Gadkari has summoned Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda to Nagpur to discuss critical issues affecting the party and state, including the abrupt developments in the state including the arrest of former minister G Janardhana Reddy by CBI on Monday.
Gowda will leave for Nagpur from on Tuesday morning and is expected to return by afternoon, according to his programme schedule released by his secretariat.
Gowda, according to sources, will be discussing the resignation of former minister B Sreeramulu, a close aide of the mining magnate Janardhana Reddy - apparently to protest against the party's decision to deny him and Reddy brothers the ministerial berths.
Discussions would also be centered around the September 26 bypoll to Koppal assembly constituency, the sources said.
