Lok Sabha Elections 2024 LIVE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s schedule for the Lok Sabha elections on Sunday consists of three states — Bihar, Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. Starting off with Bihar, the prime minister addressed public rally in Nawada, which is one of the four constituencies going to polls in the first phase. This was PM Modi’s second rally after his address to the huge crowd in Jamui district on Thursday.

“Once again, a massive wave of BJP-NDA is being seen in Bihar. Today at around 11 am, I will have the opportunity to meet my family members who are excited about voting in the public meeting in Nawada,” PM Modi had said in an X post earlier in the day.

Following the PM’s rally, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar also held a roadshow in Nawada.

PM MODI IN BIHAR

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the offset of his address at the Nawada rally, reinforced the message of ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkaar’. He said that Nawada has always blessed the BJP and NDA (National Democratic Alliance).

“Modi is on a mission to eradicate poverty from the country. I have also come here after living through poverty just like you,” the prime minister said. He emphasised that he “will not rest” until every brother and sister of the country is free of poverty.

He pressed on the importance of working together to make India developed, saying that “we cannot miss this opportunity”. He said that our nation is praised on a global level, “not because of Modi, but because of the vote you all have given”.

The prime minister hailed chief minister Nitish Kumar and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi for rectifying the “jungle raj” situation of Bihar.

Taking a swipe at the opposition INDI Alliance, PM Modi said that a big leader from their bloc has been saying “there should be a ban on Modi’s guarantee…it is illegal”.

He said that his guarantee of abrogating Article 370 was fulfilled and on this, INDIA bloc should reply on why it didn’t allow the constitution to be applied in Jammu and Kashmir

He responded to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s jibe of what relevance Article 370 holds in Rajasthan and said, ” I was ashamed upon hearing this, Kashmir is ours. Congress should understand that to protect this Kashmir, youth of Bihar and Rajasthan has given their supreme sacrifice for Kashmir…”

PM MODI IN BENGAL

While speaking at the meeting he said, “Today entire Bengal wants only one thing, Phir Ekbar Modi Sarkaar.” He further said that Jalpaiguri district has decided that they will make BJP’s Jayanta Kumar Roy win by a record margin.

He further said TMC wants that their workers should get full licence for terror , that’s why when Central agencies come they attack them. “TMC’s syndicate Raj is going on here,” he added.

He also questioned the public, “Don’t you think Sandeshkhali culprit should get strong punishment?”

The Prime Minister also said, I tell them (Congress, TMC, Left) bhrashtachar hatao, they say bhrashtachar bachao!”
