New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal formally announced his entry into politics on Tuesday saying he will fight elections, without thinking about winning or losing. Equating himself to the Pandava king Arjun, a character in the epic Mahabharata, Kejriwal said, "I won't think about winning or losing, but fighting. I have to answer the next generation," Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal further said that his party will be a people's party. "Everybody keeps saying Kejriwal's party... What is Kejriwal's party? Why would I need to form a party. I was well employed. I don't need to form a party. This is your party. This is the people's party," he said.
Launching an attack on the ruling Congress and the Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kejriwal said that the two parties had looted the country together and that the coal scam was proof. "The BJP and the Congress are all together. The coal scam has proven that beyond doubt. They all got together and siphoned off the money," he said.
