The ministers of the erstwhile PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir have been asked to vacate their official bungalows.
The J&K estates department has asked the former ministers to vacate their official bungalows within seven days.
This comes even as the deadlock over government formation continues in the state since the death of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, transferring power to his daughter and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti.
The Mufti family had in January vacated the chief minister's residential house in Jammu and had also returned many security personnel and government vehicles.
However, Mehbooba Mufti had on Monday indicated that she was going to form the government with the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir. Mehbooba said at a party function in Kupwara that, "Mufti saheb's decision is final," a reference to her father and former chief minister Mufti Sayeed's decision to ally with the BJP.
Jammu and Kashmir has been under Governor's rule after chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed died in office in early January.
The deadlock has been on for over two months.
