Salem ( Tamil Nadu): Dr S Ramadoss, founder leader of PMK, a constituent of the DMK led front, on Wednesday said the DMK election manifesto would ensure that the alliance easily wins all 234 constituencies in the April 13 assembly polls.
"The DMK manifesto will ensure ensure that the party led combine comfortably wins in all 234 constituencies," he said.
Dr Ramadoss also expressed confidence on DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi again assuming office as Chief Minister.
He was speaking at a function here where 11 alliance candidates for various constituencies were introduced by state minister and senior DMK leader Veerapandi S Arumugam.
The DMK manifesto released on March 19 promised women free mixies or grinders to women, free laptops to SC/ST students and free rice of 35 kg to BPL families if voted back to power.
The party also promised free bus travel to senior citizens besides free laptops to SC, ST and backward class students of government and government-aided colleges, continuation of all welfare schemes implemented by the DMK government, including free distribution of colour TVs and Rs 1 per kg of rice.
