The Archies: Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor And Cast Take A Themed Flight From Delhi To Riverdale, Photos

Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies is all set to release on December 7. Ahead of the same, the streaming service platform Netflix, in a unique collaboration with Vistara, launched a ‘Flight to Riverdale’ for its upcoming film.

This special flight, UK 1964, took off from Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, on November 24th and landed at Manohar International Airport, Goa. Marking a first in entertainment marketing and publicity, the entire flight was transformed into an Archies and 1960s-themed experience, complete with retro décor, meals, and beverages inspired by Pop Tate’s from the film. Passengers were treated to customised Netflix & Vistara giveaways, the cast of the film and the filmmakers who were also on the flight, interacted with the passengers and influencers and thanked everyone for experiencing this with them.

Adding to the excitement, the film’s cast performed and participated in a flash mob on the song ‘Sunoh’, at the Riverdale Pop Up that was created at the Airport, enhancing the overall celebratory atmosphere. This event was more than just a journey; it was an immersive experience bringing the magic of Riverdale to life. It truly was a flight to remember.

The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is an Indian live-action musical movie based on the popular American comics of the same name. It also marks the acting debut of late star Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor (Betty), and megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda (Archie).

Earlier this month, the makers of The Archies dropped the second track titled Va Va Voom, a lively tribute to the 1960s rock and roll era. The song captures the essence of timeless rock and roll tunes and features Dot (Aditi), Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda. What caught our attention was Agastya Nanda’s rendition of Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dance moves. The song boasts relatable and romantic lyrics. Agastya Nanda’s guitar strumming adds a touch of romance, complemented by dance sequences featuring Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, along with other co-stars. The video features their dance skills, with Agastya Nanda impressively imitating Shah Rukh Khan’s signature dance steps seen in films like DDLJ and Main Hoon Na, where he performed floor dance moves.
