Amitabh Bachchan recently welcomed his grandson Agastya Nanda on Kaun Banega Crorepati 15. The star kid, who recently made his acting debut with The Archies, was also accompanied by his co-stars Suhana Khan, Kushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda and Dot. During the episode, Agastya’s mother and Amitabh’s daughter Shweta Nanda also surprised everyone with a special appearance via a video call.
During the episode, Vedang, Kushi and Dot were on the ‘hot seat’ when they were asked, “First appearing in Tales from Riverdale #21, what is the name of the Indian addition to the Riverdale student body, an amateur filmmaker?” The young stars were given four options: A) Raj Patel, B) Rahul Arora, C) Ajay Singh and D) Aditya Shetty.
While Vedang mentioned that the answer might be option A, Kushi and Dot had no clue about the answer. Therefore, they decided to use the lifeline – Video Call a Friend and called Shweta Bachchan Nanda.

Upon answering the call, Shweta Bachchan greeted Amitabh Bachchan saying “Hello papa” but Big B pulled her leg and said, “Papa chod dijiye”. In a video from the episode that surfaced on social media, Ayastya is also seen waving at his mom. Meanwhile, during the episode, Amitabh also asked Shweta to speak in Hindi, saying KBC is a Hindi show.
For the unversed, Agastya Nanda recently made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The film also marked the Bollywood debuts of Suhana Khan and Kushi Kapoor.
News18 Showsha’s review of the movie and Agastya’s performance in it read, “Agastya as Archie is an interesting choice and he proves why he was chosen. Given the subjects that Zoya was handling, Agastya fits perfectly in the look and feel of Archie. Suhana and Kushi as Veronica and Betty shoulder every scene with balance, allowing each other to take the spotlight when they need to shine. Suhana lights up the screen every time she pops in. Khushi, on the other hand, makes you forget about her glam social life on Instagram with her simplistic performance.”
