Actor Ishaan Khatter is basking in the success of his recent project, Pippa, which has brought him a lot of acclaim. In his personal life, Ishaan is an extremely affectionate younger brother to Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor and the son of Neliima Azeem.
On Neliima Azeem’s birthday on December 2, Ishaan Khatter shared two sweet photographs with Shahid and their mother and added a heartfelt birthday message referring to her as his ‘beacon of strength’ on social media. The Pippa star, on his mother’s birthday, shared touching photos with her and brother Shahid Kapoor. The first picture shows the two sons kissing their mother’s cheeks, while the second features the trio posing together with smiles.
Ishaan captioned his photo, “Happy birthday mom. May the twinkle in your eye remain grow brighter as you enter a more joyous stage of your life! You are my voice of reason and my beacon of strength. Love you.”
Shahid Kapoor also extended birthday wishes, expressing his love for his mother. He dropped a photo from his childhood days with her. He wrote, “Happy birthday mommy. No one can love like you.”
Not long back, Ishaan during an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha had opened on his bond with Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan, who shares a deep resect for his brother Shahid, had said that he’s lucky to have him in his life and there’s an unspoken bond between them. “It’s a beautiful thing, even we don’t talk about it too much. But, we both know that it’s there. He has been like a mentor – someone I’ve learnt a lot from. We are lucky to have each other,” he added.
