Regina Cassandra made quite an impression with her portrayal of varied roles like Mrinalini Sarabhai in Rocket Boys, Kavy Iyer in Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke and as Rekha Rao in Farzi. The actress is yet again set to capture audiences heart with her next, Vidaa Muyarchi opposite Ajit Kumar.
Regina celebrated her birthday with what she loves the most, her work. The actress celebrated her day shooting in Azerbaijan, baku. Speaking about the same, Regina shared, “Work has always been my first love, and getting to celebrate my birthday with it, what else could I have asked for? I still found time to pamper myself and enjoy one of Baku’s many hamam baths. I am currently shooting in Baku with Ajith Sir and Trisha. It’s tough to shoot outdoors given the weather conditions; however, we are relishing each moment here”
Regina Cassandra has three Tamil films lined up ahead of her like Border, Flashback and Soorpanagai. The actress also starred in OTT action-thriller series Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke alongside Barun Sobti, Sumeet Vyas, Mita Vashisht and Chandan Roy. It was helmed by National Film Award winner Srijit Mukherji. Apart from Vidaa Muyarchi, Regina Cassandra will be seen opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Section 108 slated to release in February 2024.
According to the sources close to the entertainment portal Pinkvilla, the Anees Bazmee film, Section 108, is a thriller. It will be based around the insurance industry in the country. The source shared, “Anees Bazmee has a soft corner for thrillers and he will be presenting Nawaz and Regina starrer to the audiences. The film is already shot and will hit the big screen soon. Regina Cassandra, who has done work down South, will be the female lead of the film alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.”
The actress was recently selected as a Jury member for the Semi-final round of the prestigious 2023 International Emmy Awards.
