Raveena Tandon refused to answer a question seemingly about Akshay Kumar’s infidelity in a new interview. The actress was dating the actor in 1995 and was also allegedly briefly engaged to him. However, the couple split after a while. Although Raveena and Akshay have not revealed the real reason of their split, Raveena had once hinted that infidelity was the reason they split. In a new interview, Raveena was asked about infidelity in relationships, hinting at Akshay Kumar. But the actress refused to indulge.
“I would rather not discuss that,” she said, speaking with Lehren Retro. When asked if infidelity remains to be a deal breaker, Raveena said, “Every relationship, according to me, is based on faith, love, honesty and trust.” Raveena seems to have resolved her issues with Akshay. The actors made a rare joint appearance earlier this year at an awards show and have now signed Welcome 3, formally known as Welcome to the Jungle.
The announcement was made earlier this month and Raveena joined Akshay and other cast members in an announcement video of the movie.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, Raveena said that while she has her share of history on the relationships front, she and her husband, producer Anil Thadani have not discussed their pasts with each other. “He prefers not to discuss things that are probably very personal to him and his past and I didn’t want to poke, and neither do I (prefer to discuss),” she said. When Raveena met Anil, he had been through a divorce. Speaking about their first meeting, Raveena recalled, “We met and we started talking on August 4, 2003, and by February 2004, we were married.”
The couple has been married for almost 20 years now and have two children together — Chhaya Tandan and Ranbir Thadani. The family is often spotted together spending time at home and taking trip together.
