Dino James DELETES Post, Apologises After Extending Support To Shubh: 'Mujhe Kuch Maloom Nahi Tha'
Dino James, who is currently also seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, has now clarified that he does not support any 'anti-national' element.

Rapper Dino James has issued an apology hours after extending support to Canada-based Punjabi singer Shubh. Recently, Dino took to his Instagram stories and called the cancellation of Shubh’s concert in India ‘unfortunate’. However, he has now apologised saying he wasn’t aware of the entire controversy. The rapper, who is currently also seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, has also clarified that he does not support any anti-national element.

“I sincerely apologise for the story I posted earlier today. I had absolutely no idea what had happened in the last 2days and was only expressing sadness for another artist. Please pardon my ignorance,” Dino wrote in the statement he shared on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

“India is my home, my motherland and has given me everything and made me who I am. I apologise for any hurt I have caused my brothers and sisters from India and my fans across the world,” he added.

Meanwhile, Dino also took to his Instagram handle and dropped a video in which he retierated that he had no idea about why Shubh’s India tour was cancelled and therefore his Instagram story was out of ignorance. “The post that I had put up, it was for a tour getting cancelled. It was from an artist to another artist. There’s nothing more to it. I had no idea about the background. The moment I got to know about it, I instantly deleted my post within minutes. This does not mean I am running away. I do not support any anti-national behaviour or act. Why will I do this? Like I said, I am not running away. I take full ownership, responsibility what I have done. I apologise from the bottom of my heart to people who are hurt with it. I am so sorry,” he said.

For the unversed, Shubh was scheduled to perform in Mumbai from September 23 to 25 as part of the Cruise Control 4.0 event, organized aboard the Cordelia Cruise. Besides this, Shubh also had a three-month-long tour in India under which he was supposed to perform in several other cities including New Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. However, his tour has been canclled due to his alleged support to separatist Khalistani elements.
