Choi Woo-shik and Park Bo-young, best known for their roles in A Killer Paradox and Daily Dose of Sunshine respectively, are gearing up for the much-anticipated upcoming South Korean drama Melo Movie by writer Laa Na-eun, renowned for Our Beloved Summer. The K-drama promises a glimpse into the complex lives of individuals going through different phases, bravely confronting challenges and winning over hardships to find meaningful life. Choi Woo-shik steps into the shoes of Go Kyum, a character evolving from a part time actor to a critic, with a passion for movies. On the other hand, Park Bo-young is set to play the role of Kim Moo-bi, a fresh face in the film industry.

The upcoming series not only features Park Bo-young and Choi Woo-shik but also includes Lee Jun-young and Jeon So-nee in the cast. Netflix recently shared images offering a sneak peek into the preparation for Melo Movie, featuring Park Bo-young, Choi Woo-shik, Lee Jun-young and Jeon So-nee. At present, Park Bo-young is impressing audiences in another Netflix series Daily Dose of Sunshine, which premiered on November 3. The show explores the stories inside a psychiatric ward, featuring the character Da-eun, who is shown as a nurse. Since its release, the series has achieved remarkable success, as it secured the 4th position on the Netflix Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) category.
