What Happens In The Penguin’s Episode 4?
As the events unfold, Sofia Falcone ends up discovering that Oz killed her brother and that he was tricking her from the start; her character also goes through an evident change, seemingly coming up as the actual protagonist. Viewers got to know her full backstory, with Sofia finding out about her late father’s crimes and affairs, including the purported murder of her own mother.
One of the biggest revelations in the episode was that Sofia was not the ‘Hangman,’ proving that she did not kill anyone before being sent to Arkham Asylum. Amid all this, Sofia decides to take control and seeks revenge. With an intense climax building in, Sofia is shown releasing poisonous gas into the air, killing everyone at the family table except Johnny Vitti.
The reason? We’ll have to wait till the next episode.
Next are some calm yet haunting scenes where Sofia walks through the house, opening every door to confirm the deaths.
Speaking to USA Today, the actress said that she had been waiting for her whole life to be a part of the universe. “I seize up and shake my hands and watch through (my fingers). But I was definitely able to have these moments where I was like, ‘Whoa. That’s some villain. That’s cool,'” she added.
