Unni Mukundan starrer Jai Ganesh is one of the most anticipated movies in the Malayalam film industry. It is written and directed by Ranjith Sankar. After watching the poster of Unni Mukundan in a wheelchair for the movie, the fans were eagerly waiting for the teaser and the release date of the movie. The film is set to release in theatres worldwide on April 11.
The film is centred around a young survivor who lost mobility in a bike accident during his college days. The story, which transcends the boundaries of fantasy, showcases the journey of Unni Mukundan to become a superhero. The teaser starts with Mahima Nambiar reading a comic book about a village named Siddha Nadu. The clip then draws parallels between the story presented in a comic and Unni Mukundan’s life in the movie.
The father of the actor recalls that his child, Ayaan (Unni Mukundan), wanted to become a biker in childhood but lost his mobility due to an accident. While drawing parallels with superhero stories in comics, the actor is seen rushing into the parking area in his wheelchair. “It wasn’t the end of anything but the beginning of a new Jai Ganesh" echoes in the background of the visuals as Unni Mukundan prepares to fight.
Jai Ganesh is jointly produced under the banner of Dreams n Beyond and Unni Mukundan Films. The music for the film is by Shankar Sharma. The cinematography was done by Chandru Selvaraj, while the editing was executed by Sangeeth Prathap.
As per the teaser, Unni Mukundan starrer Jai Ganesh is said to have fantasy elements. The director had earlier mentioned in interviews that the movie Jai Ganesh is “an extremely demanding script that traverses between reality and imagination".
