Tamil actor Silambarasan TR stepped out for the first time after reports claimed he was getting married. The 41-year-old actor was spotted making his way to the audio launch of Indian 2. After the launch, Simbu spoke with a few journalists gathered outside the venue. While Silambarasan did not address wedding rumours, he spoke about not casting his vote. The actor couldn’t cast his vote at the recent Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Speaking about the same, he told reporter in Tamil, “I was in a shoot, I couldn’t come to cast my vote. I know it is a mistake but I couldn’t cancel the shoot, I haven’t become that big yet. So I also had to consider the shoot schedule as well. Having said that, I do feel bad that I couldn’t cast my vote.”
He also revealed he has been busy with the making of STR 48 and Thug Life, adding that he reached the audio launch of Indian 2 late due to his shooting schedule.
Last week, a leading Tamil news portal reported that sources close to actor Silambarasan, popularly known as Simbu, have revealed that the star is getting ready to marry the daughter of a big actor from the Telugu film industry. According to the reports, an official announcement is expected to follow soon.
The latest rumours suggest that Silambarasan’s parents are keen for him to settle down soon. While the identity of the bride-to-be is still kept under wraps, the news has spread rapidly on social media and has become a hot topic of discussion. Meanwhile, about Indian 2, the film is headlined by Kamal Haasan. It also stars Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Samudra Gani, Bobby Simha, George Marion and others. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film. Indian 2 is being produced by Red Giant Movies in association with Lyca Productions. The 1996 film Indian narrated the tale of a freedom fighter turned vigilante who kills corrupt bureaucrats and government officials to weed out corruption from society.
