Shruti Haasan, a prominent figure in the Tamil film industry, recently charmed fans with her latest Instagram pictures featuring a red satin saree. She opted for nude makeup and stylish jewellery which added to the glam quotient of the shoot. Accessorising her photo with metallic gold choler, earrings and a green-gold necklace, Shruti looked mesmerising in the photo shoot. The Race Gurram actress dropped cherry emoticons in the caption, with her photos doing the rest of the talking.
The pictures sparked a flurry of comments with Shruti’s admirers appreciating her beauty and style. They dropped heart emoticons in the comment section with one of the fans calling her sexy and elegant. “Cherry lady for real”, read another comment.
Besides these pictures, the 38-year-old actress and her long-time boyfriend, Santanu Hazarika reportedly broke up last month. As per the Hindustan Times, “They broke up last month. Since there were personal wavelength issues, they decided to part ways amicably.”
In an earlier interaction with the Bombay Times, Shruti Haasan talked about her relationship with Santanu. She said, “Santanu and I had some common friends. Our friendship blossomed because of our mutual appreciation for the love of art, music and cinema. People like him are rare. He is very kind and talented. He is a visual artist… an illustrator, and I find his art inspiring.” Shruti said that she has met many people who don’t prioritise kindness and good behaviour, especially in our business.
On the professional front, Shruti is known for her acting stints in the films D-Day, 3, Aagadu, etc. She last played the role of Aadhya in the movie Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. This film boasted an ensemble cast starring the actors Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and others. It garnered generally mixed to positive reviews from film critics. Despite these reviews, Salaar emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2023 and the third-highest-grossing Telugu film of all time. It also became the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 and the 11th highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Produced by Hombale Films, Salaar has grossed Rs 705–715 crore worldwide.
