Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar recently visited the historic Saundatti Yellamma temple. The actor was in Belagavi to shoot his next, Uttarakanda. The actor, having faith in the deity, believes that seeking her blessings brings success and good fortune to his projects. He was accompanied by the producers Karthik Gowda and Yogi G. Raj, along with his wife Geetha Shiva Rajkumar.
This tradition dates back to his earlier films. In 2003, the actor visited the temple during the shooting of Sriram. The film, directed by MS Ramesh, turned out to be a super hit. Director MS Ramesh came here along with Shivanna and the team during this movie time.
Again, in 2010, during the filming of Mylari, he sought the goddess’s blessings. The movie, directed by R. Chandru, also saw remarkable success. A scene of the song from the film was also shot here.
Shivanna is currently working on the film Uttarakanda. The shooting has already been done in Vijayapur and Belgaum. Following the completion of the shoot, he visited the Yellamma temple. The film is entirely set in North Karnataka and directed by Rohit Padaki.
Uttarakanda is a Kannada action-drama movie. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Dhananjay, Shiva Rajkumar, Diganth, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Chaitra Achar in the main roles, along with Yogaraj Bhat, Gopal Krishna Deshpande, Umashri, Rangayana Raghu, Vijay Babu, and many others in supporting roles.
Shiva Rajkumar is one of the best-known actors in the South Indian film industry. He has been a part of some of the biggest films. He has been a part of more than 130 films to date. Recently, this year, the actor completed 38 years in the film industry. He made his acting debut with the Indian Kannada-language film Anand in 1986. He was just 23 years old when he made his first film. He is known for many films, like Janumada Jodi, Ratha Sapthami, Nammoora Mandara Hoove, Om, and Chigurida Kanasu. He also made a great cameo in the blockbuster film Jailer, starring Superstar Rajinikanth.
