Incidents of robbery and theft are becoming increasingly common these days, so much so that even some of our beloved celebrities are not spared. Jahnavi Killekar, a prominent Marathi actress, has shared her ordeal on social media, making some shocking revelations about a recent robbery at her residence.
Known for the show Bhagya Dil Tu Me, Jahnavi Killekar took to her official Instagram account to spread awareness of house robberies and theft, as a victim of the crime herself. In the video, the actress revealed that her mother suffered shock which led to paralysis because of the incident. Talking to the viewers, she stated, “We have built a bungalow as a second home in Pen, Raigad. We go there on weekends.” She added, “The thieves took away the music system and speakers, my brother’s guitar and his several expensive watches apart from my mother’s expensive sarees.” Revealing further, she said the thieves even tried to remove the air conditioner and tried to take the refrigerator, but left those behind.
The actress mentioned in the clip, that she aimed to spread awareness of the increasing cases of robberies, especially when there is no one at home. She said, “We had bought these things with our hard-earned money and they were very selective and precious for us.” According to her suspicions, the robbers had kept a close watch on the house and were aware that they only visited the property on weekends. “I have lodged a police complaint and the cops are probing the case,” Jahnavi added.
