Ever since the announcement of the movie Oru Jaathi Jaathakam, fans have been buzzing with excitement. Now, as per the latest updates, the makers unveiled the first poster on Wednesday. What’s exciting is that the movie will see the father-son duo, Sreenivasan and Vineeth Sreenivasan unite again for a movie after Kurukkan which was released last year.
The first poster of the movie was released on social media and has already become the buzz of the town. It features eight female characters of the movie, assumably Vineeth’s potential prospects for marriage, while the actor is dressed in a dazzling blue suit. The movie will also star Sayanora Philip, Nikhila Vimal, Kayadu Lohar, Indu Thampy, Ranjitha Madhu, Chippy Devassy, Varsha Ramesh, and Haritha Parokod.

The shooting for the movie began in Kochi last year. It is being directed by M Mohanan, a popular filmmaker who is also credited for working in a few notable movies like Katha Parayumpol and Aravindante Athidhikal. It is touted to be a family entertainer filled with drama and high on emotions. Apart from the main star cast, it will also see Isha Talwar, Aju Varghese, and Babu Antony in important supporting roles.
As per reports, the movie is based on the experiences of a young man living in North Malabar, who has a strong belief system and holds on to them under various circumstances. The movie is being bankrolled by Maha Zubair under the banner of Varnachithra. The movie will also cover the Malabar region’s customs and culture. Vineeth in an interview with OTTplay had referred to this upcoming film as a “completely insane” family drama.
