Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh solemnised their six years of relationship with a traditional wedding ceremony in Italy. The two also hosted a wedding reception for Deepika's family and friends in Bengaluru followed by Mumbai reception for their industry and media friends.
But before they host another reception for their friends and close aids in film fraternity, the newlywed couple headed to Mumbai's Siddhivinayak temple.
For the occasion, Ranveer opted to wear a full sleeves kurta with churidar pyjamas and completed his look with a matching Nehru Jacket and black round sunglasses. Likewise, Deepika wore a beige A-line kurta. While she chose a plain kurta, her dupatta had detailed thread work over it. Twining in their beige outfits, the two looked stunning.
Take a look at the couple's outing:
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14 in a traditional Konkani ceremony, which was followed by a Sindhi wedding on November 15. Both the functions were fiercely intimate with just about 40 guests in attendance and a ban on prying mobile phones and paparazzi. The security at the wedding venues was reportedly at par with that provided for a meeting of world leaders.
On their return, the two hosted a reception for Deepika's relatives in Bengaluru, followed by a DJ bash organised by Ranveer's sister Ritika Bavnani for the couple.
The two threw another lavish reception for their friends from the media in Mumbai. The newlyweds, who looked nothing less than royal at their reception, as they came out and posed for the shutterbugs.
On the work front, they were last seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. While Ranveer will next be seen in Simmba, Deepika hasn’t announced her next project yet.
