Kiara Advani REVEALS Sidharth Told Her 'You Have Guts' After She Was Trolled For Singing On Indian Idol

Kiara Advani has finally opened up about getting trolled after singing during the Indian Idol 12 finale. Recently, Kiara marked 10 years in Bollywood when she celebrated her special day with fans in Mumbai. During the event, Kiara was reportedly asked about being trolled for singing on Indian Idol 12. The actress recalled the incident and admitted that it was “so bad”.

“Guys, I went to Indian Idol Finale… Yes, it was so bad, I would never,” she said as quoted by Bollywood Shaadis. When a fan interrupted saying, “No, it was not bad, it was pretty”, Kiara mentioned that they were praising her just because they love her.

Following this, Kiara also recalled how her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, reacted to her singing and added, “Thanks, you all are real fans because gaane ke baad Sidharth has told me, ‘You have guts. Grand Finale me tumne koshish kiya.’ I said, ‘Mujhe pata nahi that ki suddenly mera sur off ho jayega.’ So I understand.”

Kiara Advani appeared on Indian Idol 12 in 2021. She was also joined by Sidharth Malhotra. The two were seen promoting their film, Shershaah. Kiara and Sidharth fell in love with each other on the sets of the same movie and tied the knot in February 2023.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Sidharth and Kiara will soon be reuniting on screen for a romantic comedy, which will mark their first movie together since their wedding. Recently, Sidharth was speaking to ETimes when he shared an exciting update on the film and said, “Oh yeah, that’s very much on the table. We can’t say for sure, but we were very interested in working together and finding the correct script combination, where both of us justify our roles. Also, the audience gets to see us after Shershaah, which we got a lot of love for. It is about getting the correct elements in place.”

Besides this, Kiara Advani will soon also step into the action genre with Don 3, which will also star Ranveer Singh in the lead. Previously, Kiara expressed excitement for the Farhan Akhtar directorial when shared that she consciously decided to sign this movie to break away from the way the audience has seen her as of now. Kiara also has Game Changer with Ram Charan in her pipeline.
