After Sara Ali Khan had said on Koffee With Karan that she wants to date Kartik Aaryan, the message was soon delivered to the Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety actor. A video of a blushing Kartik tackling media questions on what his next move would be, had surfaced soon after. The actor’s reply at that time was that he is waiting for Sara to give him her address.
The next stage in this drama has now unfolded at an awards show Wednesday night. Kartik and Sara happened to be at the same awards show in Mumbai. Ranveer Singh, who is promoting his upcoming film Simmba with Sara these days, decided to play cupid and introduce the two. Videos from the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2018 show Ranveer, clad in an animal print jacket (you can’t help but notice it), introducing the two of them.
Ranveer then asks them to sit together, just before Kartik is called up to receive an award. Before Kartik leaves, Ranveer introduces them once again. As they shake hands and exchange pleasantries, Ranveer is seen making heart signs at the camera. “I am very glad that the two of you have finally met,” he says.
For the time that they spent together, the two actors were seen laughing and blushing at the awkwardness of the situation. We hope Kartik had the chance to ask for Sara’s address this time.
