Jennifer Lopez hosted a Bridgerton themed party and the biggest surprise came from the series' composer, Archer Marsh, who released the orchestral version of Waiting for Tonight.

Netflix’ hit period drama, Bridgerton has captured the hearts of many, including Hollywood star Jennifer Lopez. To celebrate her recent birthday, J.Lo hosted a Bridgerton-themed party, where she brought the show’s elegance and charm to life with her family and friends. The celebration was full of glamour, but the biggest surprise came from the series’ composer, Archer Marsh. He celebrated the pop sensation’s milestone by releasing a new orchestral version of her iconic song, Waiting for Tonight, which was originally released in her debut album, On the 6. In a reel shared by Marsh, Lopez is looking majestic while seated on a royal chair, perfectly capturing the Bridgerton vibe.

The popular track was a major hit, as it earned two MTV Video Music Award nominations and was honoured in the Best Dance Video category. Lopez also performed the song on major TV shows, including Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and the 11th Billboard Music Awards. Days after J.Lo’s birthday, Marsh finally released a full orchestral version of the song, which he had earlier teased with the making video on Instagram. Marsh wrote, “New single released. Amazing to be able to work alongside the incredible J.Lo, reimagining her fantastic hit record Waiting For Tonight.”

Following her birthday bash, Jennifer Lopez gave fans a peek of the celebration on Instagram. In a video, she appeared in two stunning looks from the evening. For the first part of the celebration, J.Lo wore a breathtaking light blue gown. Later, she changed into a more casual green outfit. She kept her accessories simple, letting the gowns shine during the time. The celebration even included guests in royal outfit, chariot, massive cake and live orchestra.

While the singer had the best time of her life with family and A-list artists, Ben Affleck was nowhere to be seen. Sharing the video, the singer wrote, “Dearest Gentle Reader. And a splendid evening was had by all.
