The VicKat Story
Katrina and Vicky Kaushal dated for about two years before tying the knot in December 2021. They surely set the couple goals very high for us. They have never shied away from speaking lovingly of each other.
Here are a few instances that made us fall in love with the celebrated couple even more.
First Karwa Chauth
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Katrina talked about her first Karva Chauth celebration post-marriage. She mentioned that she was touched by the fact that Vicky was fasting too. “The sweetest thing was that, of course, Vicky was also fasting. I’m sure he wouldn’t have let me do it alone and it’s not like I asked him to do it all. I didn’t say anything. He did it himself,” she said.
Recently, Vicky also opened up about the first Karwa Chauth. Speaking to Film Companion, Vicky said, ““I am okay with keeping a fast. As actors, we go through diet restrictions and all that so being an actor helps. But she is a Google queen. She asked Google when she’ll be able to see the moon. Google said 8:30 pm. I told her Moon won’t listen to Google, it will come when it wants to. Google can’t predict the movement of clouds. That delay was there and she was like, ‘It hasn’t come.’ I said it’s not like I am calling it. It will come when it wants to. She was completely fine till that time that Google set, 8:30 pm, after that she was like now I am feeling hungry.”
Vicky Kaushal a good listener
And then, Vicky, at one of the events, said that he became a good listener because of Katrina. “I was a good listener before but now I’ve become an unbeatable listener. I can listen to so much because she loves to talk and I love to hear her talk,” he explained.
Katrina helps with professional advice
Recently, Vicky told Film Companion about a tip Katrina shared with him. Katrina had asked him to control his energy while dancing on screen. Quoting Katrina, he said, “I [Katrina] know you [Vicky] love to dance. But you are a baraati dancer, and not a trained one’. That’s because I [Vicky] get carried away, and she tells me that is fine in real life, but I need to preserve the energy for the camera.”
