Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are celebrating their second wedding anniversary. Farhan shared a lovely photo posing alongside his wife, Shibani. The duo looked happy while posing for a selfie. Sharing the photo, Farhan wrote in the caption, “By your side..proudly..always. During an interview with India Today, Farhan spoke about his life post-marriage with Shibani. He emphasised that the bond they share has evolved over the years, reaching new heights after taking the step towards marriage. According to Farhan, the journey continues to be fulfilling and great.
Farhan and Shibani made their public debut as a couple at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Mumbai wedding reception in 2018. Following years of courtship, the couple exchanged vows on February 19, 2022, at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse. In a departure from traditional ceremonies, they opted for a ceremony that blended their diverse religious backgrounds and beliefs. The intimate event was attended by notable guests including Hrithik Roshan, Samir Kochar, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidwani, and Rhea Chakraborty
On the professional front, Farhan has an exciting lineup of projects in the pipeline. He is set to produce the drama film Jee Le Zaraa, which features Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif. Additionally, he is busy with the production of the upcoming action thriller film Don 3: The Final Chapter, starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
