Erica Fernandez Fainted on the Sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2? The Actress Clarifies

Of late, it was rumoured that popular television actress Erica Fernandez who plays the new Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 fainted on the sets.

“Erica was unwell ever since she reached the set. She wanted to finish her work and get back home soon. Erica couldn't take a day off from work because of broadcast issues. However, her health did not support the exertion and she fainted while shooting,” Spotboye quoted a source.

Quashing all the rumours, on Thursday, Erica took to Instagram and posted a picture stating she was unwell, but she did not faint on the sets. In one of Instagram stories she wrote,"Thanks for all the concern shown towards me. Means a lot. Just wanted to clarify that, *Touchwood* I have never fainted till date, have just been unwell but I am recovering and will be well soon..." - (sic)

Apart from Erica, the show also features, Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan in lead roles as Anurag and Komolika.

Talking of Hina Khan as Komolika, the actress wasn’t too apprehensive about having to shun her good girl’s image to bring the scheming Komolika back to life on Indian TV. "When Ekta (Kapoor, producer) offered the role to me, I asked her why she wanted to cast me in a negative role. She said that she was bored of seeing me as the good bahu. She told me I could pull it off and I went by her vision," Hina told Mid-Day.

Originally the roles of Prerna, Anurag and Komolika was essayed by Shweta Tiwari , Cezanne Khan and Urvashi Dholakia.
