Veteran Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi’s son, Madhav Suresh, is set to debut in the film industry with the upcoming movie, Kummatikali. As per a new update on the film, it is expected to release by this month. Here are all the details related to the project. The film is being dubbed as an action-drama, and will reportedly have its theatrical release on September 20. The project also marks the Malayalam directorial debut of notable Tamil filmmaker Vincent Selva, who is known for directing Thalapathy Vijay-starrer films like Priyamudan and Youth. According to reports, the film is set in a coastal backdrop; it has reportedly taken inspiration from Mammootty’s Amaram.
Late last month, the makers unveiled a new single titled Kummom Kummom. Released on August 28, the video for the song was shared on the official YouTube channel of 123Musix. The clip captures the coastal life of Kerala, featuring the film’s cast, which seems to explore the trade of fishing amongst the fishermen. The music is handled by Jackson Vijayan, while the vocals as well as the lyrics are by Pranavam Sasi.

The story of the film revolves around a young man named Dennis (played by Madhav Suresh), who is a member of a gang called, Kummati Boys. It follows his determination to stand up against those who are stealing the only source of money his community has.
Helmed by Vincent Selva, Kummatikali is produced by Super Good Films. The cast of the film also includes names like Lena, Devika Satheesh, Yami, Anuprabha, Major Ravi, Mime Gopi, Azeez Nedumangad, Sohan Seenulal, Sinoj Angamaly and many others. The cinematographer is Venkatesh, while Don Max is doing the editing and the music is under Jackson Vijayan.
