Billie Eilish got candid about discovering her sexuality in a new interview and admitted that she has been in love with girls. The Oscar award winning singer, whose sexuality made headlines last year, said that her new song titled Lunch helped her to embrace her authentic self. The song features Billie singing about having a same-sex relationship. She debuted the song at Coachella earlier this month.
The lyrics feature the lines, “I could eat that girl for lunch / Yeah, she dances on my tongue / Tastes like she might be the one / And I can never get enough / I could buy you so much stuff / It’s a craving, not a crush.” Speaking about the song and her sexuality, she told Rolling Stone, “I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after.”
The 22-year-old Grammy-winning singer added, “I’ve been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn’t understand — until, last year, I realized I wanted my face in a vag**a.”
Billie’s sexuality became headlines in November 2023. She was talking to Variety on the red carpet of one of their awards show. She said she is ‘attracted’ tp women ‘for real’. The confession had everyone talking. A month later, she accused the outlet of revealing her sexuality. “Thanks variety for my award and for also outing me on a red carpet at 11 am instead of talking about anything else that matters i like boys and girls leave me alone about it please literally who cares stream ‘what was i made for’,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Meanwhile, on the music front, Billie is preparing to release her new album. Titled Hit Me Hard and Soft. The album is set to release on May 17 and it features 10 songs. These include Skinny, Chihiro, Birds of a Feather and Wildflower, among others.
