Armaan Malik has been facing backlash ever since he entered the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house with both his wives, Payal and Kritika. Many have accused him of promoting polygamy via his vlogs and now on the controversial reality show. However, Payal, who recently got evicted from Anil Kapoor’s show, has now lashed out at trolls who are slamming her husband.
In a recent interview, Payal stated Armaan is not the only one in this country who has married twice. She clarified that she does not support polygamy but made a shocking statement saying she knows many who are indulged in extramarital affairs.
“I am not saying I’m supporting Armaan’s second marriage but there are many men in India who have two wives, jinhone do shaadiyaan ki hui hai but only our lives are getting discussed because it is out in the open. We are on social media and people know about us through our Vlogs because we share about our daily routine in our videos. Bahut saare Aise log hain joh ghar mein biwi rakhte hain Aur bahar girlfriend rakhte hain. I agree Armaan has made a mistake by getting married twice and things were out of control,” Payal told ETimes.
Armaan Malik married Payal in 2011 and they welcomed a son named Chirayu Malik. Six years later, in 2018, Armaan married Payal’s best friend, Kritika, without legally ending his first marriage. On December 4, 2022, Armaan took the internet by storm as he announced the pregnancies of both Kritika and Payal. Armaan is now a father to four children: Chirayu, Tuba, Ayan, and Zaid.
Recently, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Payal also called Armaan’s marriage with Kritika “unfair”. She admitted that when the YouTuber married her best friend, she was left heartbroken. However, Payal also stated that she has forgotten everything now.
“Dhoka nahi par woh fair bhi nahi tha. Mere saath galat toh kiya tha uss time. Abhi main unn cheezo ko bhul chuki hu. Armaan mujhse bahut zyada pyaar karte hai, Kritika bhi. (I won’t call it betrayal but yes, it was wrong. I have forgotten all that now. Both Armaan and Kritika love me a lot),” Payal told us.
