Janhvi Kapoor starrer Ulajh has been released and is getting overwhelming reviews. Arjun Kapoor also joined the trend and praised his sister Janhvi Kapoor for the film. He took to his social handle and penned a long note. He called the film a ‘must watch’. Ulajh is a multi-starrer mystery drama.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Arjun Kapoor shared the poster and wrote, “Ulajh’ is an engaging spy drama with standout performances by every character in the film. The Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah thriller had a slow start at the box office on its opening day, earning only Rs 1.10 crore in India, according to Sacnilk.com. According to the report, Sudhanshu Saria’s film earned approximately Rs 1.10 crore in India on its first day. Ulajh had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 13.02% on Friday. Morning show occupancy was 7.38%, afternoon shows had 10.85%, evening shows reached 13.06%, and night shows saw 20.78% occupancy.
After the film’s release, Gulshan took to his X handle to urge the audience to promote the film via word of mouth. Gulshan wrote, “‘Word Of Mouth’ is the Mt Everest of publicity. It can’t be created without the organic support of the audience. This is what every movie in the cinemas hopes & prays. #Ulajh is in cinemas today. I fell in love with movies since I was 6/7 years old. It’s always a special feeling to have a theatrical release. It’s been a little over 13 years in the business now & ya the ability to handle stress gets better & better with experience, so I’m not really stressed or anything. Headlined by Janhvi and Gulshan, Ulajh revolves around Suhana Bhatia (Janhvi), a young government official in the embassy of India in the United Kingdom. Coming from a legacy family, Suhana is burdened with a cloud of nepotism over her head while she tries to wrap her mind around her new position in the UK. However, she meets a mysterious man and is enamoured by him. Then ensues a saga of deception and trickery.
